1. Artificial Lake in Grand Park of Tirana

One of the best places to experience the beauty of a sunset is in nature, and Tirana’s Grand Park has an incredible lake that mirrors the colors of the sun as it goes down the sky that can’t be missed. This spot faces the sunset directly and has a few benches, though most people come here and simply sit on the grass and watch the sun go down and the sky turn into a breathtaking mix of purples and pinks, reflected on the water’s surface. 2. Mount Dajti

Mount Dajti is definitely worth a day trip from Tirana – you can even ride the cable car during sunset to enjoy panoramic views of the urban sprawl below, as well as the surrounding countryside! If you prefer, you can also dine at one of the many restaurants on Dajti, such as Dajti’s Balcony or Dajti Paradise, as the sun goes down, or even just a cup of tea; these places offer great views over the city and delicious food.
3. Sky Club (Sky Tower)

Looking for a more upscale and exclusive sunset spot in Tirana? Sky Club has a rotating platform that towers 72 meters above the city and provides a 360-degree view of the urban sprawl below. This place serves up premium drinks as well as food, and is a great – albeit pricey – spot to see the sunset go over the Tirana skyline in an upscale and classy environment.
4. Lapidari

Want to do a short hike to see an amazing piece of Albania’s communist history as the sun sets over the city? From Lapidari, you can easily reach an old Communist obelisk overlooking the city. This area offers plenty of places to sit and watch the sun go down over the capital. There’s also a new bar that’s made out of a London-style doubledecker bus that lets you order drinks and watch the sun set over the city below – you’ll easily be able to see the lake and all the main sites of interest from up here.
5. Pyramid of Tirana

Free entrance to and the central location of the Pyramid of Tirana make it an attractive place to watch the sun set over the chaos of the city center. Here, you can ascend 255 steps to a platform overlooking the recently-renovated colorful architectural park, and admire the sun going down over the trees in the middle of the city. There are a bunch of cafes and restaurants in the complex you can relax in afterwards, and Skanderbeg Square and its attractions are a few hundred meters away.
