It all begins with a virtual tour of olive groves, teaching participants about cultivation and harvesting. Next, a knowledgeable guide will show you how the olives are transformed into extra virgin olive oil at a traditional press. During the guided tasting that follows, you will sample a variety of oils, paired with local delicacies.
All this is taking place as you soak up the sound of Iso Polyphonia, an ancient singing tradition. You’ll be introduced to the historical significance of this song form typically performed at weddings, funerals, harvest feasts and religious celebrations, and treated to a live performance that immerses you in the cultural richness of Albania.
